Free

The West Virginia University Hearts of Gold program will host a “Puppy Party,” a free community event, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on March 21 at the Animal Science Research, Education and Outreach Center.

Drop by between 10 a.m. and noon to pet puppies and watch service dogs in training perform recently learned commands. There will be information available on community fostering, a program in which people from the community house a service dog in training.

“Puppy Party” attendees will also have the opportunity to speak with Hearts of Gold trainers and community fosters in addition to playing with the puppies.
