International Polar Bear Day

Spark! Imagination and Science Center invites adults and children to celebrate International Polar Bear Day on Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 10 am to 1 pm.

Children will have the opportunity to make a polar bear craft and participate in a number of science activities that explore polar bears and the environment. To encourage a healthy planet for polar bears, each participating family will receive a re-usable grocery bag, while supplies last. Admission is $6 per child and $2 per adult.

“International Polar Bear Day is an opportunity to learn about these amazing animals and think about how our actions affect them,” says Julie Bryan, Executive Director of Spark.

Families will also have the opportunity to explore the exhibits at Spark! Imagination and Science Center. In Spark’s hands-on exhibits, visitors can dig for pretend dinosaur fossils, build a ball ramp, explore nanoscience, play dress up, and much more.

Spark! Imagination and Science Center is located at the Mountaineer Mall at 5000 Greenbag Road in Morgantown. Regular admission is $6 per child, $2 per adult and children under 12 months are free.
