Inspire Your Heart with Art at Spark!

Celebrate Inspire Your Heart with Art Day at Spark! Imagination and Science Center on Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 10 am to 1 pm. During Inspire Your Heart with Art, children can create their own art, inspired by the design style of Joan Miró, and learn the basics of the Hammered Dulcimer, an Appalachian instrument.

“Art, in its many forms, brings so much to our lives,” says Julie Bryan, Executive Director of Spark. “Inspire Your Heart with Art Day is an opportunity to take a moment to appreciate art and to create something of our own.”

Visitors can also explore Spark’s hands-on exhibits during the event, including our new additions to our engineering exhibit and our newest exhibit, The Sun, Earth, Universe, an engaging and interactive exhibition about Earth and space science for family audiences. Plus, dig for pretend dinosaur fossils, build a ball ramp, explore nanoscience, play dress up, and much more.

Inspire Your Heart with Art was funded through a grant made possible through a collaborative effort between YCF and the Arts Council of Greater Morgantown, with funding from the City of Morgantown, the Monongalia County Commission and the Douglas H. Tanner Memorial Fund for the Arts.
