Fostering Musica(bi)lity: Helping Your Child Develop and Grow Through Music
Accessible and Inclusive Group Music Therapy for Young Children and CaregiversChildren 2 to 4 years old that would benefit from early intervention services (including those with disabilities) are invited to participate with their caregivers in a weekly music therapy session run by WVU music therapy faculty and students. In these sessions, children will work on developmental skills and milestones through enjoyable and approachable therapeutic musical experiences designed specifically to meet the needs of the group. Children and their caregivers will have the opportunity to move, sing, explore instruments, practice academic concepts, and interact with peers, all while creating musical memories! No previous music experience is required for the child or the caregiver. Caregivers must always be present.
This session is 13 weeks long for the price of $140 as well as a registration fee of $10.
