April Arts Walk at the Art Party

April 9, 2022 at 11 AM

It’s the first Downtown Arts Walk of the year!
We’re very excited to be hosting three amazing exhibits so make sure to stop by to check them out and also see how we’ve been transforming the space!

Our featured artist North River Art’s exhibit “Plastic Fantastic” is a folk art exploration into recycled single-use plastic sheet media. The show includes abstracted quilts, garments, and 2-D pieces that make use of traditional fabric processes and sewing. It presents an interesting dialogue about waste and legacy; contrasting the care and lifetime use of an heirloom craft with single-use plastics that will pollute for centuries.
Join us for the reception Friday evening from 5-7pm.
