River House Campground

Looking for something a bit more comfortable for camping? Welcome to the River House Campground, an in-town camping site for tent campers located 11 miles south of Teters and the FOC campground in Rowlesburg, WV. The campground is adjacent to the River House Lodge and is an extension of their lodging business.

Primitive camping has its place, of course. But why not camp feet from the river in a lighted campground with a lovely bathhouse and lounge? They offer six hot and cold showers and bathrooms – three for men and three for women, solar lamps, a crushed stone parking area for each site, fire rings, and picnic tables. The bathhouse and lounge has a full kitchen with a 24-7 coffee maker. You camp along the river in town with services – groceries, dining, bars, ATM, post office, inns, and gift shops.
