Gallery 62 West by the Taylor County Arts Council

– Reopening July 3, 2020 –

To enhance the quality of life in Taylor County and surrounding areas, promote a sense of community and foster economic development. The Taylor County Arts Council works to bring the arts in all of its varied forms to residents and visitors, with particular emphasis on introducing the arts to our youth.

Reopening Information:
MASKS ARE REQUIRED IN THE GALLERY

This is non-negotiable. If you do not have one, one will be provided. We are doing this for the health and well being of our visitors and our volunteers Our local and state medical experts have told us that wearing a mask helps prevent the transfer of this disease. We care about your health and the health of our volunteers, so we must strictly enforce this.

There are HAND SANITIZERS at each entrance and in the gift shop. Please use them (or wear gloves). Please do not touch anything except hand sanitizers, things you purchase, doorknobs, and sign-in book and pen.

OBEY SOCIAL DISTANCING REQUIREMENTS. We have placed markings on the floor to give you an idea of proper space to maintain between people. We have not installed arrows to direct flow, however, if the floor marking is upside down you are going the wrong way.

At this time, we can only allow 10 people in the building, including the docent who is in the gallery. Our volunteers will be doing extra cleaning during this time as well.
