The Morgantown Mile

Did you know that Morgantown has passed laws to implement Private Outdoor Designated Areas, or PODAs, through Senate Bill 534? With the PODA, you can grab a to-go drink from participating spots in an official PODA cup and sip it as you wander through downtown Morgantown and the Wharf.

During PODA hours, you can grab a to-go drink in an official PODA cup (a clear cup with the logo) and stroll through downtown or the Wharf with friends. The PODA is open from 4–10 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 10 a.m.–10 p.m. on weekends. During these hours, you can stroll the Morgantown Mile after dinner, or before your plans with PODA approved drinks.
