Get Moving! is excited to invite families across West Virginia to come together for the Stepping Into Spring 5K & Kids Fun Run, a joyful morning centered on movement, fun, and giving back. Since 2014, Get Moving! has worked to encourage kids to stay active and build healthy habits through hands-on play, positive role models, and community events. This spring, we’re expanding our impact with a family-friendly 5K that starts at the Milan Puskar Football Facilities and finishes with an unforgettable run onto the WVU Football Stadium field.
Children under 12 are invited to take part in the Kids Fun Run, racing across the stadium field in costume just after the 5K begins. Their “entry fee” is a new stuffed animal, which will be donated to children admitted to the hospital through a special partnership. Join us on Saturday, March 21, with the 5K kicking off at 9 a.m., for a feel-good event that brings families together, gets the community moving, and supports kids both on and off the field.
