MAC Bootleggers Ball, a lively evening on August 23 in Monongalia Arts Center’s historic downtown building will feature the Swingside Jazz Band, swing dancing, hands-on arts activities, outdoor garden party (weather permitting), games, silent auction, raffles, a selfie station, bites, and cash bars with wine, prohibition era cocktails, and beer. (Also, they can neither confirm nor deny whether there will be a speakeasy in the basement of the building.)
All proceeds support the MAC’s mission to inspire creativity through art classes, exhibits, and live performances in the heart of Morgantown. As a cornerstone of the local arts community, the MAC provides year-round programs for all ages, affordable studio space, and a hub for creative expression inside our stunning neoclassical former post office building.
