Whether you’re looking for a full-on event with food, drinks and entertainment, or you want to grab the gang and head to a restaurant or bar for the evening, we’ve got a list of the best locations to ring in 2023. Start making your resolutions and plan where you will be celebrating today!

New Year’s Eve Events

Looking for something to do during the day? Launchpad Trampoline Park has you covered! They’re hosting a NYE Glow Jump featuring party lights, ninja courses, arcade games, a foam pit, prizes, and so much more that is sure to wear out any kids or adults. For only $20 an hour, jump into the new year with them on Dec. 31 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.!

Did someone say brunch for dinner?? Morgantown Brewing Company is ringing in the new year with awesome breakfast themed munchies while flaunting only the finest of flannels at their Lumberjacks & Pancake Stacks NYE Bash. Come dressed in your flannels ready to win prizes and sip on specialty cocktails! Ticket prices range from $15 to $50 and they give you access to so many different activities to take part in.

Arthurdale Heritage is throwing a New Years Eve Party you will not want to miss! Join them for an evening of dancing, drinks, and fun as you ring in the new year and celebrate all they’ve accomplished in 2022! This event is WWII-era themed, but anyone is welcome to join for food and fellowship. The party will be on Dec. 31st from 10 p.m. and will last until 1 a.m. and is for ages 21+ only. Tickets are $15 online or $20 at the door, tickets will be available on their website starting November 28.

New Year’s Eve Dinner will start at 4 p.m. at the Preston County Inn. Be sure to reserve your spot before seats fill up! Cost varies by dish.

Welcome 2023 with the Morgantown Moose Lodge #264 and Zona Hester. Cost is $20 per person or $40 per couple and includes food and party favors. The party starts at 9 p.m.

Spend New Year’s Eve at 123 Pleasant Street this year for their annual NYE Bash. Celebrate 2022 and welcome 2023 with a night full of music of all genres. This event is their only 21+ event, so make sure to bring a valid ID. The bar opens at 8 p.m. with music starting at 9 p.m. as well as a celebratory champagne toast at midnight!

Join the Tropics for their NYE Celebration on Dec. 31 at 6 p.m. For just $25 enjoy an appetizer soiree, live music and dancing, a champagne toast at midnight, and friendly company!

Have a Cosmic Rockin’ New Years’ Eve at Suburban Lanes with music, food and a champagne toast. Reserve your lane by calling 304-599-3522 and enjoy the early bird shift from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., or the New Years Eve Party from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.! The Early Bird shift includes a shoe rental, large one topping pizza, and a pitcher of soda for 6 bowlers. The New Years Eve Party includes a shoe rental, 20 wings, a cheese tray, a pitcher of soda, party favors, bottle of champagne and a live DJ! Call for pricing and to reserve your spot.

Bartini Prime is open for their normal operating hours, but after that stay and join them for their NYE Party! Jam out to their live DJ and enjoy a complementary champagne toast at midnight. After 9 p.m., there is a $10 to enter, but it includes NYE party kits and the toast.

Gene’s Beer Garden: opened in 1944, Gene’s is the oldest Bar in Morgantown located across the bridge in South Park

Iron Horse Tavern: West Virginia craft beer, specialty cocktails, house infusions and fine pub fare

Mountain State Brewing Co: one of the state’s oldest distributing microbreweries and tap room, serving craft brews and gourmet wood-fired flatbreads located near the rail trail in the Wharf District of Morgantown

Mario’s Fishbowl: voted one of the top 101 “Best Places to Dine in West Virginia.” A historic spot filled with tradition, fishbowl-sized beers, great sandwiches and chicken wings

Kegler’s Sports Bar and Lounge: features more than 20 TVS, a full menu including their award-winning wings and more, beer on tap and 39 bottled selections
