Welcome to NEVA Creative Arts Co., a performing arts school right here in Morgantown! NEVA’s story begins with a beautiful little girl who battled childhood cancer for 2 years before passing away on February 14, 2020. Neva Grace Knight loved dancing and singing through life. Her story inspired owner, Cambrie Gerdes, to start NEVA Creative Arts Co. and raise awareness for childhood cancer. A portion of all proceeds go to fight this never ending battle of childhood cancer. They are currently donating to WVU Children’s Hospital.
“Here at NEVA Creative Arts Co., we dance, sing, and create for Neva and all cancer patients every day,” says owner, Cambrie Gerdes.
NEVA offers a wide variety of beginner and advanced classes that all foster a triple threat technique. Each class strives to encourage individuality among students and provide top training so that your child can become the best dancer, singer, and performer they can be.
From beginner tap and jazz to advanced acting and everything in between there is something for your child to enjoy. The Beginner/Intermediate Ballet class is a great way to build the foundation and technique for all other classes. Explore hip hop, musical theater, tap, and more. Looking for more focused instruction? Try a private voice or dance lesson with one-on-one learning.
Do you know any adults looking to get back into dance? Or maybe try it for the first time? NEVA is now offering an adult dance class where you will have the opportunity to try all styles in a fun, relaxed setting!
