Still have food on the mind? Head over to the Farm Tour and Bison Tasting Series event happening at Riffle Farms on Friday, September 3. Explore a real Bison ranch and learn about the animals, the robust chute system for herd health management, and the spectacular farm panoramas! Then sample some farm-fresh bison chili and shop the pop-up store for merchandise.
Keep those feet a-moving with the Friday Family Walk at the West Virginia Botanic Garden, happening Friday, September 3 at 10:00 am. This easy, casual walk is a great way for children and their caretakers to get outside and enjoy nature and the company of others.
Slow down to a stroll at the Anna Jarvis Birthplace Car Show, taking place on Saturday, September 4, at the Anna Jarvis Birthplace Museum in Grafton. Enjoy cars, live music, food and tours of the Anna Jarvis Birthplace Museum, the site at which Mother’s Day was founded.
Looking for more tunes? Head to the Country Roads Jamboree, Presenting Hank Williams IV, playing live in Morgantown on Saturday, September 4 starting at 5:00 pm. Then, catch the Shane Masters Band as part of the 2021 Mountain Music Concert Series, playing live at Chestnut Ridge Regional Park on Saturday, September 4 at 6:30 pm.
Rowlesburg’s Annual Weekend Celebration and Ox Roast kicks off on Saturday, September 4 with the dance, followed by the Ox Roast on Monday, September 6. Throughout the weekend, there will also be dinners, dances, horse and buggy rides, face painting and more. It’s an event the whole family can enjoy!

The first home game is next Saturday, September 11 versus Long Island University, so make sure you’re ready to yell, “Let’s Go, Mountaineers!”
