WV Northern Rail-Trail Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

Join Preston County Parks and Recreation in celebrating the opening of the new West Virginia Northern Rail-Trail (WVNRT) in Kingwood! The event will take place at the trailhead across the street from the Craig Civic Center and will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, music, food truck offerings, and a chance to walk along the newly paved section of the WVNRT.
The WVNRT Kingwood Section project is the result of successful collaborative efforts by PCPaRC, Preston County Commission, Friends of the Cheat, Preston Rail-Trail Committee, WV Department of Transportation, and many supportive local organizations and citizens. Come celebrate all of the hard work and this new trail with us!
