$5 to $15

An introduction to geocaching, the hobby that will take you to places you never imagined. Geocaching is sometimes referred to as ‘hiking with a purpose’ in that it gets you into nature with specific destinations and challenges to motivate your outdoor endeavors. The Garden’s executive director has been a geocacher since 2002, along with other local geocaching legends we will teach you the ins and outs of the hobby as well as tips on how to make it rewarding for your specific interests. Dress for hiking. If you have a smartphone or GPS receiver, you are welcome to bring it so that we can help you set up your own geocaching account. All ages. $5 for WVBG members, and $15 for non-members.
