Mountain State Maple Days
On Saturday, Feb. 22 and Saturday, March 21, “sugar shacks” throughout West Virginia, including in Mountaineer Country, will be celebrating the Fourth Annual Mountain State Maple Days as a means of bringing attention to one of our state’s fastest growing and sweetest industries, maple syrup. During this celebration, maple syrup producers open their establishments to the public to see the ins and outs of maple syrup making and, of course, try some sweet treats. Not to mention, many businesses partake in the festivities and show their support for the industry as well.
Join WVMSPA in celebrating this West Virginia Grown product at a variety of local shops, restaurants, and other organizations or entities to peruse a collaborative display, or sample a maple syrup-inspired menu, watch a cooking demonstration, educational set up, and more. Visit the website for a complete Maple Days map and more information.
