Kiddie Days
Free
Join WVU for Kiddie Days! The event allows children and adults to interact with animals, understand more about farming and where their food comes from. There will be wooden apple trees ripe for picking, wooden cows for “milking,” plush chickens and eggs, as well as a duck pond with baby ducks and a slide. The WVU Insect Zoo will have a display and live insects. Children will have the opportunity to paint with soil, plant a seed or flower, and pet Hearts of Gold dogs.
Kiddie Days is a free three-day event at the college’s Animal Science Research, Education and Outreach Center. Tours will be available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 23-25. Each tour will take two hours or less. To make a reservation, call 304-293-7092 between 8:15 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday or email [email protected]. Provide the following information: group name, number of children and adults attending, preferred date and time of visit. Hope to see you there!
