Goat Gallop 5k Run/Walk

Enjoy Arthurdale’s charming historic district dotted with original New Deal homes and gallop past the friendly goats! After the 5k, visit the historic grounds, play with the goats, and join us in celebrating homestead life. All paces welcome in the 5k–run, walk, or roll through Arthurdale! Strollers and wheelchairs welcome. An untimed 1 mile Kids Race is open for children 10 and younger and starts shortly after the 5k. Everybody wins!

Healthy snacks and refreshments to recharge your body will be provided. Preregistration is $20 until May 15. Registration between May 16 and race day is $25. The Kids Race is open for ages (10 and under) and is $3 to participate.* Register online, in the office, or visit the official race website for more information. If not pre-registered before May 15, event t-shirts are first come, first serve for participants! Any extra shirts will be for sale on race day. Packet pick-up will be from 7:30-8:45 on race day.

*All ages are welcome in the 5k Run/Walk with a registered participant; for an event t-shirt, number, and age group ranking, all must be registered.

*Companion policy: Children under 5 are welcome to accompany participants in the 5k–stroller and bikes allowed on course–but please be mindful of other participants. Please indicate upon registration if you plan to have a child companion with you. For accommodations of companions over 5 without registration, please contact the Race Director.
