| Calling all dog owners! Appalachian Peace Paws Rescue will be hosting a dog-centric fundraiser on June 29th at the Edith B. Barill Riverfront Park in Star City. Pet parents can have their dogs paint pictures using their paw prints. Additionally, the artists can get a little treat while working on a lick painting. Afterwards the little Pawcassos can get pampered with a bath. In addition to the dog art and dog wash event, we will have raffle items and food to raise additional money to benefit the rescue. We have activities available to fit every budget. Door prizes will be given out all day long.
