Mark your calendars, April First Friday for the Arts is going to have a variety of activities and exhibitions to view! Check out 8 participating locations in downtown Morgantown, all of which will be featuring a gallery exhibition.
From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., the following locations are offering free activities and events to immerse yourself in the arts.
- Andrew White Guitars (198 Foundry St) will be presenting the works of the Morgantown Learning Academy.
- Morgantown History Museum (175 Kirk St.) will be continuing the presentation of their Black History exhibition.
- Monongalia Art Center (107 High St.) will be presenting a variety of works from the Monongalia County School System.
- 147 High St will be presenting the Mainstreet Morgantown ReStored initiative.
- The Co-op (131 Pleasant St) will be presenting Gabe DeWitt and live music from the Pop Shop starting at 7 p.m.
- Morgantown Art Bar (268 High St.) will be presenting community member works and storytelling from Children’s Author, Sandra Vanin starting @ 6 p.m.
- Morgantown Art Party (218 Walnut St.) presents the work of Patty and a live music performance from Griffin Miller.
