First Friday for the Arts
Free
Taking flight in February, “First Friday for the Arts” was the first installation of a series of community events that uplift artists, drive traffic downtown, and engage the community with the extravagant creative minds that Morgantown holds. Starting on the First Friday of April, the community can expect to see a variety of artist demos, workshops, lectures, performances, community events, music, and more accompanying numerous temporary exhibitions supported through the Tamarack Foundation for the Arts (TFA) Ripple Program.
Join the creative community on March 1, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. in downtown Morgantown to explore local businesses and art venues. Participating locations include Andrew White Guitars, the Monongalia Art Center, the Co-Op, the Morgantown Art Bar, the Morgantown Art Party, and the Morgantown History Museum. Each location will hold a creative feature, beckoning the community to browse and be welcomed by these wonderful venues. Enjoy exhibitions from Eddie Spaghetti, Arthurdale Heritage, Katie Spohn, Betsy Lawson, and more.Location Details:
