Fireworks at Palatine Park

The 4th of July is on a Tuesday this year so we’re starting the party a few days early on Saturday, July 1. DJ Unique and Byron “Six Six” Cooper are going to get the party started right. If you missed their opening set for Rob Base and Tone Loc last summer, here’s your chance to see what all the hype was about.

Next up is Weird Science… Weird Science is a non-stop hype, energetic, and interactive party group. This professional troupe performs all of the chart-topping hits spanning the 80’s, 90’s & Pop2k. Weird Science consists of five members: Myndi Lauper, Sebastian Rock, Willy Idol, LL Cool K, and Eddie Van Hanson. Fronted by both male and female vocalists, Weird Science features top-level entertainers including powerful keyboards, screaming lead guitars, thumping bass lines, and tight percussion. Each show includes elaborate costumes, detailed lighting, and mind-blowing audio-visual enhancements that have to be seen to be believed!

Headlining our Independence Day extravaganza is Liquid A, an experienced live band that provides a broad sonic palette, adaptable to many different scenarios and tastes. The group’s extensive songbook consists of stunning renditions of famous tracks, spanning genres as diverse as rock, pop, funk, dance, alternative, and hip-hop, only to mention a few. As the band’s name might imply, their musicianship is very fluid, allowing them to create engaging sets tailored to different circumstances and different audiences. This professional ensemble of musicians knows how to craft the most fitting live soundtrack for our Independence Day party!

As always, we end the celebration with our signature fireworks display off of the High Level Bridge.
