Alien Gold and the Artist Collective of West Virginia are proud to announce the opening of an exhibition. The exhibition, entitled Apotheosis, brings together a group of more than 30 artists from around the world. It opens in Oct. 4th in the Benedum and Davis Galleries of MAC, and will be on display until Oct. 26th.
Apotheosis is defined as the glorification of visionary art to divine level. Visionary art purports to transcend the physical world and portray a wider vision of awareness. The works featured in this exhibition are based on such mystical or spiritual experiences.
The event will feature live music/DJs, art demonstrations and healthy snacks.
