Annual Mother’s Day Service

The annual Mother’s Day Service will be held on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 14, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. in the sanctuary.  From 1:00-4:00 in the afternoon following the service, there will be the “Open House”.

This is the 150th year since the church – Andrews Methodist Episcopal Church of Grafton – now identified as the International Mother’s Day Shrine, open its church doors on January 26, 1873, and was dedicated on March 16, 1873.  The State of West Virginia was 9 years old and Andrews Methodist Episcopal Church of Grafton was the largest church structure in the State of West Virginia.
