William A. Neal Museum of the Health Sciences

The William A. Neal Museum of the Health Sciences strives to preserve the history of healthcare in West Virginia and at West Virginia University.

The museum preserves stories and artifacts of cultural, artistic, historical, and scientific importance to the medical history of West Virginia and WVU. Exhibits cover topics ranging from Civil War medicine to epidemics of the 20th century to modern advancements used at WVU Medicine.

Admission is free, and the museum is open when the Health Sciences campus is open. The museum is located inside the WVU Health Sciences Center.
