Old Stone House

The Service League of Morgantown, owners of The Old Stone House, an eclectic gift shop housed in the oldest stone structure in Monongalia County, at 313 Chestnut St., in downtown Morgantown, has announced shop hours that are back to pre-pandemic days. Beginning April 1, 2023, the Old Stone House will be open 11 a.m.- 3 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

The shop features pottery from West Virginia potters, Blenko Glass, handmade items, WVU items and so much more. The League works behind the scenes in many different ways to help better the lives of Mon County citizens and is now in full pre-pandemic mode of operation.

In their 88 years, the League has donated more than $421,692 to improve the lives of local citizens through charitable, educational, and cultural activities and has maintained the historic 227-year-old landmark, the Old Stone House.
