The Space
Self check-in with smart key-code lock. Two bedrooms, one queen bed on the main level, one full bed up-stairs. There is a rec room with two X-long twin beds available and an air-mattress upon request. Bath rooms on both floors with showers in each. Bedding and towels provided. Each bed room has a Smart TV with a Roku and Dish Network available in the living room. Free guest Wi-Fi access. Fully equipped kitchen with Keurig coffee pot.
Guest access
Guest space is a separate home above our detached garage. Parking for three guest cars is outside in a private driveway. The basement garage is locked not accessible to guests. The owners do use the garage while guests are present. However, the rest of the home is completely private and for guests to enjoy!
About the Host
Jen loves being from the beautiful mountain state of West Virginia. A true mountain mama to one amazing son and wife to the love of her life. In addition to working full time as a professor, Jen enjoys gardening, picking fruit form her orchard, cooking, fitness, and drinking wine! They love to travel and host those who love to travel in our space!
During Your Stay
Situated across the driveway from our home, you can enjoy our unique way of life. We live in a passive solar earth berm house situated on 15 acres in a small “Country Road” community. We raise trout, bluegill, and catfish in an aquaponic system and have a small 104 tree orchard and large garden. During growing season you can help yourself to the vegetables and fruit.
