Located just 15 minutes to downtown Morgantown and only 5 short minutes away from Coopers Rock State Forest. Spectacular landscape views from dusk to dawn and breathtaking star gazing once the sun has set. Guests will have their own private entrance to come and go as they please and full kitchenette to make home cooked meals while on the road.

The Space

Their apartment has everything you will need to be comfortable during your stay. With a private entrance, a full kitchenette, and a spacious bathroom, you will feel right at home. Feel free to sit on the front porch and enjoy the sounds of nature.

About Your Host

Joyce is a retired elementary teacher, mother of three, and a grandma. She’s lived in West Virginia her entire life and her husband of 35 years and her just built their dream home overlooking the cheat river valley. They delight in spending time in the outdoors, and adore camping, hiking, and watching beautiful sunrises from their land. They love animals and dote on their 2 dogs; Zoe and Cooper. She thoroughly enjoys watching their wildlife; deer, turkey, hawks, and an occasional fox.

Her favorite pastimes include antiquing, reading, and finding opportunities to serve others. Her philosophy is that strangers are friends she hasn’t met yet. Running an Airbnb will give me a chance to meet new people. I look forward to hosting you!
