First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt visited so often that it became known as Eleanor’s Little Village. There are 160 original homesteads, a museum, and a gift shop.

Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum
A National Historic Landmark that served as a sanctuary for the mentally ill beginning in the mid-1800s. Fascinating stories of Civil War raids, a gold robbery, and the “curative” effects of architecture are included on the tour. Paranormal tours are also available.
