Live Entertainment
Jackyl, Peter Frampton, Cheap Trick, Charlie Daniels, and more!
Come to MountainFest ready to sing along to your favorite songs by your favorite bands. On Thursday, July 25, Jackyl will take the Coal Bucket Saloon Stage at 8:00 p.m. Big Mike Griffin and Peter Frampton will rock out Friday night! Then, make sure to get the perfect spot on Saturday night as the Charlie Daniels Band performs on the Main Stage! Other musicians, including Whey Jennings, Four Horsemen, Copper Thief, Cheap Trick and more, will perform throughout the weekend. Before the ‘Fest, see Steve Earle & the Dukes, with The Mastersons at the Met Theatre.
Poker Run
Join in on the fun of the BFS poker run! You pay a certain amount to enter, then ride your bike to each BFS stop and draw a card. When you’re finished, whoever has the best hand wins a prize.
Coal Bucket Saloon
You’ll want to find the best view in the crowd so you can see all the great acts on the Coal Bucket Saloon Stage! Sponsored by Budweiser, this stage is the main station for exciting performances during MountainFest.
Wall of Death
Catch this thrilling spectacle at MountainFest – daredevil bikers take their chances will ride their bikes around a circular track. Speed and balance play a huge role in the success of the riders! The steep, circular walls make this an exhilarating obstacle!
Scenic Rides
Check out our scenic ride guide 7 routes in the state. If you’re a motorcycle enthusiast who craves nothing but curves and scenic views, then Greater Morgantown is your destination for cruisin’ down country roads. With a scenic beauty route, as well as a covered bridge and historic veteran’s route, no two rides are the same. Ride through small towns as you roam our West Virginia hills.
While you ride, stop by Gallery 62 West in Taylor County for the Art of the Ride Exhibit, featuring motorcycle artwork and memorabilia! This exhibit is a temporary installation, open to the public starting July 5 through July 27, 2019.
Parade
The Parade of Bikes will kick off from the WVU Coliseum at 1 p.m on Saturday, July 27. Before the parade begins, there will be a blessing of the bikes by Bikers for Christ at 11 a.m. in the Coliseum parking lot. All bikes will gather at noon to take formation. The parade marshal will be announced soon!
Cool Bikes
MountainFest attracts tens of thousands of bikers to Greater Morgantown, filling the streets with unique bikes of all shapes, sizes, and designs. Attendees are happy to share the stories behind their bikes and explain the various features that accompany the designs. It’s an amazing sight to see all of these bikes cruising down the roads of Morgantown!
Mall and Food Vendors
While no outside food or beverages, including coolers, are permitted in the MountainFest area, many vendors will be available for you to purchase food, water, soda, and adult beverages. Local food trucks will be in attendance to bring you your favorite Morgantown eats and festival treats! There will also be vendors to shop while you’re attending.
…and Four Days of Motorcycle Fun!
MountainFest will bring you nonstop fun at its 15th Annual MountainFest Motorcycle Rally. With various ticket options to enjoy the weekend, foods from the tastiest vendors, and many beautiful motorcycle rides offered, MountainFest is ready to take West Virginia by storm! Proceeds from the event go toward non-profit Mylan Park.
